  • 9 x 13 Inch Baking Pan

  • Medium-Sized Bowl

  • Sharp knife

  • Cutting Board

  • Spoon

  • Spatula

  • 2 pcs Boneless and Skinless Chicken Breasts or 5-6 chicken tenders, thawed
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • cups Tomato Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • Pasta Like Rotini or Frozen Ravioli cooked according to package directions
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9 by 13 baking pan with cooking spray.

  • First, you will make the sauce mixture. In a medium-sized bowl, stir together the tomato sauce and the Italian seasoning. Set this aside.

  • Use a very sharp knife and a cutting board, cut the chicken into one-inch chunks, removing any gristle or connective tissue. Set this aside.

  • Spoon the garlic into the baking pan and spread it evenly in the bottom of the baking pan. 

  • Place half of the chicken cubes in a single layer in the baking pan. 

  • Spoon half of the tomato sauce mixture over the top of the chicken.

  • Sprinkle half of the mozzarella over the tomato sauce, followed by a layer of ¼ cup of Parmesan cheese. 

  • Create another layer of chicken, followed by the remainder of the mozzarella and ¼ cup of Parmesan cheese. 

  • Spread the remainder of the tomato sauce over the other ingredients in an even layer. 

  • Sprinkle the bread crumbs in an even layer on the top of the tomato sauce.

  • Top this layer with the remaining half cup of Parmesan cheese. 

  • Bake the casserole for about half an hour. Spoon the chicken and cheese mixture over pasta like rotini or cooked ravioli.

To feed one’s family inexpensively and nutritiously, most people will need a selection of recipes that the family will eat and can be prepared quickly. Most folks can manage to prepare dinner if the prep time is only a few minutes and the baking time doesn’t take too long. Our recipe for Chicken Parmesan Casserole only takes a few minutes to prepare and bakes up in less than half an hour. 

This recipe is definitely going to be a family favorite. It features diced boneless skinless chicken breast meat, which even picky kids like eating. It also has tomato sauce, seasoned with Italian seasoning. This taste is popular with kids because it brings to mind the flavors of two kid-friendly favorites–spaghetti and pizza. Layered in the casserole are two different kinds of cheeses, and it is topped with a crispy bread crumb topping which will turn golden brown in the oven. 

This casserole can be spooned over cooked rotini pasta or even cooked, frozen ravioli. Choose either cheese ravioli or meat-stuffed ravioli. Either option will taste delicious. You can serve a bagged salad and pre-made frozen garlic bread to complete the dinner.
